I was just in a saxton Hale server (one of my fave modes, so sue me)

and I got punch killed and I typed fuck, by habit.

and I got kicked, so i went back in and i asked why I’d been kicked.

and the Console said cos I was ” being a dick”

I said “How so?”

He said nothing, I said “Is it cos I used the F word?”

and He said “yeh, there are kids in here.”

Fair enough but then I think

WHY ARE KIDS PLAYING THIS.

anyways I appologize but suggested maybe it would be better to tell warn people and he went on to say I should read the Motd? or something, I didn’t see anything when i joined about swearing. And I said Cos i missed a rule doesn’t make me a dick and lol He said

“I’ll be the judge of that”

pfff, so I say
“how old are you?”

He replies “39”
and I reply

“Shouldn’t you be a bit more mature and point out the rules instead of calling people dicks?”

and he said

“Hm maybe, but I could do this”

And he kicked me again.

Haaaaaaa 40 yr old consoles.

Now before I say anything please note these are just thoughts I’ve had, nothing serious and nothing too deep, so please don’t take offence and take it all personally!

This is just a fandom after all

Some people like to portray the Medic as an old grumpy man, and that is totally fine, the more different interpritations the better In my honest opinion, but slating anyone who draws/portrays him different from that isn’t really fair.

Now this is just from watching meet the medic…a lot, but medic A. doesn’t really look old to me but that may be the style (he looks about 45 to me) and has anyone noticed that like…

He’s not grumpy at all?

It might be because of the comfortable company he’s keeping, But he’s really casual and cheerful, smiling and laughing the whole time. not to say he’s a ray of sunshine, but he pretty much has that smile plastered to his face (very naturally) throughout the entire vid. Even in the battle scene He’s smug and totally into his new invention.

Even I get tempted to slot him into the solitary craving miserable git that He LOOKS like he’d be, but cheerful smug medic seems a lot more fun to me, personally :> not to say its the right or only portrayal.

so yeh, draw and portray medic how you wish, I love seeing all the different kinds of medics, but people don’t need to be snarky about eachothers portrayal yush?
